Happiness is nothing but everyday living seen through a veil.

So i can't believe that i have less than a month of school left...as a junior! Which means after May-give or take a few days-i'll have another month left 'til we're on a plane to Cali. There was also a change in plans, next week i'm not going to Cali for the entire week with my mom to search for a house; instead she'll be going alone while the rest of us stay here. -_-
Oh and starting monday and the following 2 weeks, i'll be smelling like dead cats.Wait, that probably sounds totally horrid!
Don't worry, i'm not going on a cat killing spree so it's not neccessary to put your cat on lockdown. It's because for my anatomy & physiology class, we're starting on our cat dissections. On friday, we got into groups and met our cats, we have a(nameless) female feline. Although i've dissected a cow eyeball and a sheep brain (our class even watched an autopsy) idk if i'm ready to actually dissect a cat.There's something that gnaws at my spine everytime i think about touching it & opening it up. Blehhh.
Anyway, this afternoon i rode my bike around my neighborhood for about 30 mins and once i got home, i noticed a dark tan line where my shorts were.ughh! i don't like getting tan and the fact i tan easily. Other than my silly rant, i enjoyed my bike ride, i actually noticed the distinct pleasant smell of the various flowers, thanks to the breeze that brought it to my attention. The soft breeze cooled me down and i felt so relaxed as i listened to music. lately, i've been feeling content and i feel the sense of excitement wanting to burst out of my soul.

Updates: I made a facebook last night! ha (facebook.com/nguzman23) Last Wednesday I had a lovely picnic with my closest friends. On saturday, spent the day at Epcot with my fam/relatives.Then Sunday, spent the day at Universal + Islands of Adventure. Yesterday, went shopping; bought a tank top & sunglasses (wearing the sunglasses in this post) from H&M, bought a romper and a purse at XXI, bought another romper at Urban Outfitters (which i'm wearing in this post) 2 rings from Aldo (also wearing in this post) and stole a tank top from Banana Republic :x
On 4/20-4/27 I'll be in Cali with my mom to search for our new house that we should be moving into by June.
Also, hopefully on June 20 I'll be going to Islands of Adventure to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with a few friends.

Now i'm off to work out, do laundry,finish homework, and then watch Love Games:Bad Girls Need Love Too.

Carpe Diem

So its official were moving in June,since I found out... I've been trying to fulfill as many plans as I can that I want to do with my friends. Its disappointing to know that even though I despised this place, I took it for granted. I guess you could say my mood lately has been to "carpe diem"; seize the day.I've learned life is short & mine could end at any second, yet idk why I've become too accustomed to taking things for granted, but I'm trying really hard to change. Living here, there's been lack of spontaneity in my life that I miss and wish I could have more of here before I move,I want to be able to look back & remember the good times I got to spend with my friends during the last months,to also be able to say that those were the greatest moments while living in florida.Oh & I have to mention that lately I feel a bit discouraged when i hear "But your moving" then I realized, those 3 words just give me even more incentive to put in as much effort as I can to do what I want before I move,I'm not letting the fact I'm moving stop me from living my life to the fullest.I'm open to absolutely anything,looking forward to any good surprises,and maybe I'll even find a sweet boy :P I just hope all of you realize to "carpe diem" everyday,starting NOW.

Creepy coincidence.

So our new topic in psychology is forensic psychology and currently on the subject of serial killers.We have to do a research project on one serial killer from my teacher's specific list &
I randomly picked-Henry Lee Lucas.Whom i just found out he was born on August 23,my birthday!dun dun dun. well i assure you i'm not a serial killer. Although i have to mention there were a few other choices i would've chosen, like the acid bath murderer,dr.death,the vampire of sacramento,or the green river killer.
Oh & you might not find this amusing as i did,cause my friend & i seriously laughed for like 5 minutes. So in anatomy we had to fill in this chart about how carbon travels throughout the body & out.For some odd reason instead of reading "Carbon Dioxide goes into the capillaries of alveoli" i said "capillaries of ovaries" then my friend & i started laughing together & then she said "that's what's called a queef!" LOL.
Well i'm off to do homework so i can be done before America's best dance crew starts.
btw,for the ones who watch it, who's your favorite dance crew?
p.s. I bought lemonade mix,and i've discovered that lemonade is especially delicious with honey.

So unfortunately,i haven't been able to update because our computer wasn't working due to a virus,but it's working again (obviously,heh.)

Anyway,lets see...random updates, learned to skateboard,I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D (i loved it & wanna see it again) i bought Phoenix's recent album,studying for SAT's,trying to get my hair to grow longer,got to sleep for about 45 minutes in psychology today with my Beatles blanket & zebra pillow :) (we're studying altered states of consciousness,sleeping is one,btw.) i have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow morning,i think I've become addicted to nestea ice tea,craving lemonade,bought the April issue of Seventeen & Glamour (with Amanda Seyfried,oh & it's amusing to pronounce it "say-fried") Also waiting on the official decision to where & when we'll be moving.

^i think my hair looks like i've colored it,but honestly,i've never dyed my hair!

I love this blue pleather jacket :) Just bought it this weekend and it's kept me warm during this "cold" weather were having this week. By the way, it was definitely weird coming back to school on tuesday, i shed a few tears in some classes since people asked me why i was missing for so long. I'm so overwhelmed by some of my classmates who barely talk to me but care so much & now they've been talking to me more. Well i hope it's the reason is simply because they're genuine & not just showing sympathy.

RIP Daddy,we love you & miss you.

I'll start with what currently makes me feel happy/amused/entertained.

- Hobo, i remember seeing this the first time in my bestie's room & i was so amazed ha, it's so cute! then we named it hobo. last week i got a package from her & she gave hobo to me as a gift. it's head moves side to side when the sun
hits the solar cells. :)

-Pleather jacket, which I'm wearing in this outfit below. & I just
bought it this weekend & got the chance to wear it today because of the
lovely cool weather. btw, I would never buy a real leather jacket,no
offense to the animal skin wearing lovers. to imagine myself wearing or
owning anything made of some sort of animal & it's skin just makes me
feel like my stomach will implode, I think it's that repulsive.

& I found a part that I feel is especially inspiring. here's the
excerpt:

The Legend of Billie Jean

so last weekend i was quite bored and searching the tv for something good to watch and ended up watching an 80's movie called "The Legend of Billie Jean" At first, i thought this movie would correlate to Michael Jackson's song but instead it was basically about a group of kids on the run from the cops. Thought it was cool how the main character Billie Jean went from being the good girl with pretty long hair to rebel & cutting off all her hair. I also really liked that these kids got away with so many things, in this generation they definitely wouldn't get away with what they did ha. Oh & i forgot to mention some characters have country accents, it was kinda hard to tolerate it at first but i got used to it. :P ^i created a new set on polyvore because i was inspired by one of her outfits (picture below)
so simple, yet so chic! t'righhht?yeh i like to add the letter t to random words. oh & the pictures below are shitty quality because i used my cell phone since the batteries for my camera died.

Hello new year

heyy followers, happy new year!
i hope all of you had a good holiday break, and received lots of presents.
i got $70,beatles rock band & lady gaga's the fame monster cd.
oh & btw,i barely went out during winter break,i had too much fun playing beatles rockband & sleeping in...so i had no outfits to post--- but now i can since school started again!
oh & it's finally COLD :D
although it's not below zero like in other nothern states,it's been in the low 50s most of the week & i'm satisfied. i'm glad nature finally realized that it needed to compensate for the lack of "fall/winter weather" during october, november & december. OH & even more exciting the weather lady said that "snow flurries" might fall from the sky tomorrow morning. think i'll have to wake up around 6...but it will definitely be worth it. if i don't see anything fall from the sky, i just might have to find that weather lady & throw a bucket of ice at her...jk?!
anyway, i also thought i'd mention that i really want to see Youth in Revolt tonight but since it's Rated R & i'm under-aged i can't...*sighh* well if anyone that actually reads this & will or has seen that movie, let me know what you thought of it. k beans, thanks. another update:
i got a haircut, having short hair is a refreshing change, although i still miss my long hair.
